Service Hours And Night Coverage
On weekdays U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains run from approximately 4:00 AM to 12:30 AM. Night buses on N-lines operate during the overnight gap. On Friday and Saturday nights the U-Bahn and S-Bahn continue running all night at roughly 15-minute intervals. MetroTram M-lines and MetroBus routes M11 to M85 run 24 hours a day, with MetroBus services maintaining 10-minute intervals throughout the day. Daytime bus operations include 152 routes that serve more than 6,500 stops.
Ticket Prices And Validation Rules
Standard single tickets are priced at €2.80 for Zones AB, €3.10 for Zones BC and €3.40 for Zones ABC. Children under six travel free. Tickets must be validated before boarding or purchased through smartphone apps that handle the process directly.
