TU Berlin Athletes in Rowing and Field Hockey Draw Attention to Local College Programs

Three TU Berlin athletes, Benedetta Wenzel, Anton Finger and a third rower, represented Germany in rowing and field hockey at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Their participation connects directly to the university sports scene in Berlin that continues to field teams in multiple disciplines.

Berlin hosted select events in swimming, diving and volleyball for the FISU World University Games from July 16 to 27, 2025. The event featured 8,500 athletes from 150 countries across 18 sports.
