Afro-Cuban Berlin 09, 12 October | Berlin , Alexanderplatz Afro-Cuban Berlin is a new boutique salsa festival dedicated to the Afro-Cuban roots of the dance and to a deeper understanding of rhythm, musicality, and movement. Artists: Alberto Valdes Barbara Jimenez Mercedes Sayut Pedrito Luis & Giusy Leonardo Moya Silvio Leroy Yasim Relampago Sheyla The program concentrates on Afro-Cuban traditions, body movement, and musical structure , the foundations from which salsa evolved. This knowledge is not style-specific; it enriches every form of salsa dancing, whether Cuban, L.A., Mambo, or Caleña.
